Home improvement stores are not for people who dream. They should not be for people who see opportunity, new beginnings and creativity around every corner. For people who have vision, yearning and the desire to transport themselves away from early 1990′s architecture. From some sort of honey maple wood, gold door knobs and roundness…gold roundness. From laminate countertops and scuffed, scratched and marred vinyl floors.
Oh, to be transported into granite, stone, brushed nickel, squares and rectangles, porcelain-colored porcelain, leaded glass inserts, modern faucets and fixtures…sigh. Deep, deep sigh.
The yearning is strong, yet the pockets are not deep. Around every corner is a new delight, a new ohhh, a new ahhhh! Two new light fixtures are a start, a minor start. Maybe when hung a small amount of cheer will return to this bleak and depressing existence that is my current 1990′s abode. Maybe the corners of my mouth will struggle to turn upward in anticipation of the next excursion to the home improvement store.
I need time however. Time to mourn for now. Time to renew and re-adjust for the next fateful walk along the aisles of home improvement heaven. Time to focus on the next small but needed change. Knobs, I believe. Kitchen cabinet knobs. Or maybe bathroom cabinet knobs. Or…
Wait, what’s that? Could it be? Can I actually begin to feel the corners of my mouth twitching a bit in anticipation? Ready to burst into smiling, joyful delight as I plan the next mission. Apparently I am but one more in the long line of home improvement dreamers. Teased, taunted, saddened and tantalized by the power within 4 massive warehouse walls. I will win though, in the end. I will triumph.
I will improve what I can, walk away from what I cannot. I will arrive at presentable, acceptable, sellable. And when the door closes on this home, I know I will always be able to continue to dream in the next one.

Home improvement is good idea . we can see lot products to improve homes, Kitchens, bathrooms but they are very expensive. check your pockets and estimate the budget before proceeding.
